Membership

WGARC is a volunteer-run club and relies on the involvement of its members

As a condition of membership, members agree to assist with club activities throughout the year. When signing up to join or renew membership, the following commitment is made:

CLUB COMMITMENT: I recognise that my Club exists through the efforts of its Members. I commit to help run Rallies, a Competition, attend Working Bees and other activities as part of my Membership.

I agree that it is a requirement of membership to volunteer at 1 event held during the year and failure to do so may see membership for the following year declined.

One way to do this is by signing up to help run a rally. Each monthly rally is set up to be shared between four people, so the workload isn't put on just one person. A bonus of running a rally is that you get to choose the instructor for that month.

We also ask members to volunteer to help at one of our annual competitions wherever possible.

Alternatively, helping out with grounds maintenance on an ad hoc basis is also welcomed.
