Join us for monthly rallies and annual competitions
Rallies are run on the 2nd Saturday of every month.
On rally days, flat lessons run for an hour, usually with 2 riders each lesson, but this may increase to 3 if numbers require it. Jumping usually follows flat with 1 or 2 groups of 4–5 riders in each group.
Riders are grouped together based on similar experience and ability levels to make sure everyone gets the most out of their lesson.
Rally details are posted on the WGARC Members Group Facebook page and lessons are booked by responding to the post.
Fees for members and visiting HRCAV members
We encourage other HRCAV club members to join our rallies.
Non-HRCAV prospective members are welcome to participate in one rally and ride to try the club before committing to membership. You'll need to pay the non-members rally fee plus a $30 HRCAV day membership fee. This can only be done once a year per person.
How to book your rally lessons
The rally organiser will post the details on the WGARC Members Group Facebook page and lessons are booked by responding to the post. Note however, your booking is not confirmed until payment is received.

Payment deadline: Fee is to be paid by the end of day on the Tuesday prior to rally.
Cancellations: Cancellations after Thursday are not eligible for refund, unless a vet or medical certificate is supplied.
Lunch: Lunch on rally days is usually BYO, with tea, coffee, and cold drinks available.
We run competitions throughout the year, usually holding one dressage competition and one show jumping competition annually, so members can have a go at competing in a supportive and enjoyable atmosphere.
These events are perfect for riders who want to experience competition in a friendly atmosphere, whether it's your first time or you're looking to improve your scores.
